Groups/Tours
Groups are encouraged to include Droop Mountain Battlefield as a stop on travel itineraries or field trips. The superintendent of the area will meet groups and enjoys greeting visitors and may lead short hikes on the grounds when arrangements are made in advance, as available. Contact the park for additional information.
The roadways throughout the park are narrow and flanked with trees. Easily traveled by automobiles and motorcycles, larger vehicles such as motorcoach or buses should call prior to arrival to discuss parking and turning areas.
